Get to Know Jennifer
Hi, I’m Jennifer Seven. I’m the owner of 7Company Weight Loss and Wellness Center. I’ve been helping people lose weight and get healthy for over 10 years.
I come from a family background where poverty led to many health problems typical of a poor diet: diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. My mom struggled with high blood pressure and died of a stroke. My son had ADHD.
I’ve found that taking a holistic approach to health with a focus on nutrition and reducing inflammation – not just counting calories – are key to helping people feel better all the way around. They experience less fatigue, less bloating, less irritability, and increased weight loss and wellness.
My family has a history of disease and poor health. As a result, I have always been passionate about helping others with their health. Although I didn’t originally go into a healthcare field as a profession, I found that nutrition was key to managing my son’s ADHD condition and that most people didn’t understand what they were eating. I wanted to help others see benefits as well.
In 2009, I founded a health and wellness company focused on setting up health fairs for corporations in the Washington DC metro area, as well surrounding areas in Fairfax and Loudoun counties. Eventually I realized that I wanted to help people on a more one-on-one basis, so I adjusted the focus and started 7Company Weight Loss & Wellness Center in 2010.
Since then, I’ve helped thousands of people lose weight and get healthy. I have so much compassion for the struggle that people have with their weight. Women in particular often feel ashamed and unattractive. They no longer want to be in the “family photo.” I want to help get them back in that photo.
I have also been certified by the Chopra Center as a meditation teacher because I know that our issues around self-image and weight go deeper than just what you eat and that meditation and mindfulness can have a powerful effect. I am well-equipped to help my clients have a more holistic approach to their overall well-being that encompasses mind, body, and spirit.
